Philemon 1:6—"I keep praying that this faith we hold in common keeps showing up in the good things we do, and that people recognize Christ in all of it.” MSG

Ask yourself—who are you partnering with in your faith journey? Do you have a circle of believers who speak life into you, pray for you, and walk alongside you?

If not, maybe this is the season to take that step: join a group, start a conversation, or reach out to someone who needs encouragement.

These partnerships don’t just bless us—they make the love of Jesus visible to the world. When we live out the gospel together, people notice. And that’s exactly what Paul was urging Philemon to do: let grace and love transform relationships.

Christmas is more than a holiday—it’s a declaration that God is faithful. The birth of Jesus fulfilled promises spoken centuries earlier. From Genesis to the prophets, God foretold a Savior, and in Bethlehem, that promise came to life.

If God kept His greatest promise—the promise of redemption—you can trust Him to keep every promise in your life. His Word assures us of peace(John 14:27), provision (Philippians 4:19), and His presence (Hebrews 13:5). Whatever you’re waiting for, remember: delays are not denials. God’s timing is perfect, and His promises never fail.

"And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you."

—Philippians 1:6 (AMPC)

Come be encouraged, inspired, and equipped to live out your faith boldly and authentically. Invite a friend and let’s grow together!

Can’t join us live? No problem—the recording will be available Tuesday at www.cindydennis.org.

Future-Proof Your Mind: How to Strengthen Resilience in an Unpredictable World

When the world tilts — jobs change, relationships shift, technology disrupts — it’s tempting to clutch your plan tight. But for Christian women, real strength often comes when we open our hands instead. Faith isn’t about freezing the future; it’s about pressing into the One who stays the same. When you root your resilience in curiosity, community, and the constancy of God, you don’t just survive change — you grow through it.

What to Remember

You can’t control every twist, but you can grow how you respond. Five keys:

● Stay open to change rather than build walls.

● Choose curiosity over fear.

● Embrace lifelong learning and keep your mind agile.

● Practice mindfulness, emotional agility, and strong community.

● Balance hope with realism — neither naïve nor defeated.

Openness: Let Change Be an Invitation

Many of us pray for peaceful conditions — but sometimes God answers with transformation. When you shift your mindset from “Why is this happening?” to “What is God showing me?”, you move from victim to partner. The community at She Reads Truth offers daily Scripture reading plans to build that open posture. (She Reads Truth)

Checklist: Future-Proofing Your Mind

● Start your day with Scripture rather than scrolling.

● Sign up for a reading plan (see She Reads Truth above).

● Pick one new skill or topic to explore each month.

● Ask trusted Christian friends how they handle change.

● Take 10 minutes of quiet every day to simply breathe and ask God what He’s doing.

Celebrate small wins in your resilience — not just big ones.

Lifelong Learning: Keep Your Mind, and Spirit, Agile

God built our minds for growth, and our spirits for curiosity. Whether you’re diving into Scripture, studying coaching skills, or rethinking career options, learning keeps your inner world tuned to possibility.

One especially flexible path? Choosing to earn an online MSNor pursue certification programs that allow you to stay adaptable in a rapidly changing world. Continuing education strengthens mental resilience by fostering curiosity, confidence, and a growth-mindset.

Balancing Optimism with Realism

Bright hope without solid grounding risks false promises. On the flip side, sobering realism without hope becomes despair.

Mindfulness for Your Christian Heart

Mindfulness isn’t foreign to faith. The Psalmist invites us:

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

Try this spiritual mindfulness flow:

Breathe deeply and whisper, “You are with me, Lord.”

● Notice one small thing you’re thankful for.

● Release what you’re trying to carry on your own.

These moments build inner resilience — an ability to stay present instead of overwhelmed.

FAQ

Q: I feel too fatigued to work on resilience — what’s a tiny step I can take?

A: Choose one five-minute practice today. A verse, a breath prayer, a call to a friend. Growth happens in small, consistent steps.

Q: How do I know if I’m resilient and not just numbing out?

A: If you’re ignoring pain, you may be at risk. If you’re acknowledging it and moving forward anyway, that’s resilience.

Q: My schedule is crazy. Where do I fit all this in?

A: Replace something passive (like extra screen time) with one of these practices. Even 10 minutes adds up.
